EMERGENCY RESCUE PROCEDURE: MRL ELEVATORS

SCOPE: TO BE PERFORMED ONLY BY TRAINED PERSONNEL TO SAFELY EVACUATE TRAPPED PASSENGERS.

1. Initial Assessment & Power Safety

2. Passenger Communication

Phase Action Recommended Script
Arrival Speak through the door/intercom. “This is the authorized rescue team. We are beginning the rescue process now.”
Instruction Give safety orders. “Please stay away from the doors and stand toward the back. Do not pry the doors open.”
Status Update Explain movement. “You may feel the car move or hear the brake clicking. We are bringing you to the nearest floor.”
Evacuation Once leveled. “The car is now level. Please watch your step and exit one at a time.”
